Overview
At Dust, I'm responsible for designing the product experience that helps teams integrate AI agents into their daily workflows. The challenge is making something inherently complex feel natural and trustworthy.
Problem
Teams adopting AI tools face two major friction points: they don't know what to delegate to AI, and they don't trust the output enough to act on it without heavy verification.
Approach
I designed a workflow-first approach — instead of showing users a blank AI chat interface, we surface AI suggestions within the tools and processes they already use.
Outcome
- 40% reduction in time-to-first-AI-action for new users
- Net Promoter Score increased from 32 to 58
- Expanded to enterprise customers with 500+ seat deployments
